Ice Climbing Spots Still Available!

With the string of cold weather and lots of snow, the ice is shaping up to be outstanding in 2010! Lucky you there are still spaces available for our Winter Ice Climbing Trips to some of the top locations in the Northeast. Trips are going out every other Saturday through March 20th. Here are the dates for all trips:

• January 9th and 23rd
  
• February 6th and 20th
  
• March 6th and 20th

There are limited spaces available for each trip so make sure you call now to book your spots. Here’s a little more detail about what these trips are about.

MetroRock Provides –

• Guided trip by MetroRock AMGA certified guide
• MetroRock will do all the driving – clients will be picked up and driven back to our Everett facility
• Ice axes, ropes, and helmets

MetroRock does not Provide –

• Ice Boots and crampons – both of which can be rented from REI stores (call for more details)

*Clients will need to provide their own technical winter clothing

Price – $110 for Members and $125 for Non-Members

Group number is limited to a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6

Pre-Requisites –

• MetroRock waiver must be signed
• ALL clients must have passed a MetroRock toprope belay test in advance of the trip

*Trips are dependent upon fair Weather and appropriate Ice Conditions.  The guide will make the go/no-go decision!
